Warning
This blog post may be the most important one that I will ever write. This is a long one but must be read. It WILL rub some people the wrong way. Close friends may not even like what is stated in this blog. But honestly I cannot be afraid of differing opinions or backlash. I'm stating what must be stated...accepted or not. Like it or lump it.
1. The world is at a tipping point.
The world is at its highest instability...ever. The world is at a tipping point. You do not even have to be religious to see this. Almost every nation is at discourse with another one. Countries threatening retaliation and even preparing for it. Wars, plagues, lust for power and money; these have always existed. But they are at an all-time high. Perhaps it is because of the advent of certain technologies. Opinions and actions by certain factions are spread world-wide almost instantly. This can be used for both good and evil. Due to my own beliefs I believe I know what is going to happen. Many others won't agree and that's their right.
2. Politics
This isn't business as usual. This includes the entire world. The lines have been drawn. The age of compromise is dwindling. Opposing sides are boiling. And the kettle is about to boil over.
I am going to use America as an example of this instability. Mainly because we are at an extreme turmoil and what happens to us often affects several other nations. There was once a time that many average joe's could go about their lives relatively unscathed by decisions made by congress or any other governing system. This is the common thought amongst a good deal of Americans. Because of this we have been become complacent. We just say that the entire government is well...evil. That they care about themselves and not the public. A kingdom cannot be divided amongst itself and survive. You HAVE to put your trust in someone. You HAVE to support someone even if you don't agree 100% with them. Every nation must have leaders. And it must be realized that not all leaders are evil or selfish. And what are you going to do otherwise? You could replace every single senator, representative, president, cabinet member, etc with people you view would do a better job. There are those whose ethics/morality might stand for years. But there will become many more who will fall into disgrace due to human nature. Even still we must support a particular side. Unfortunately there must be a lesser of two evils. Again every nation must have leaders. Every nation has its bad apples...some more than others. We CANNOT afford to be complacent anymore.
We cannot assume that we will get our next paycheck. We cannot assume that gas prices will stay at a tolerable level. We cannot assume that we will always have fuel or energy. We cannot assume that the price of food will not skyrocket. We cannot assume that we can live day by day completely immune to decisions made by higher-ups. These are all very fragile. The more conflict there is the more fragile these become. And the world is at extreme conflict. Prices of food, gas, fuel have been steadily rising. The American dollar is decreasing in value. Things won't always stay so "great". Hard times are coming...it happens to every nation...repeatedly.
3. Personal responsibility
Everything we do affects another person...and then affects a family...in turn affects other families...in turn affects a neighborhood...in turn affects a city...in turn affects a state and so forth. Not voting, sitting on the fence, hating every side are the things that got us into this mess. By your inactivity have the bad apples been able to rise to power. They do not have to worry about your vote. If a million people suddenly decided to vote for a particular person...that would change everything. Especially if that person is a locally admired ,modest, down to earth citizen who you feel could honestly do a better job than those currently in power. You MUST care. Someone MUST be trusted. You wouldn't let go of your steering wheel and trust the car to take you safely to work would you?
4. Personal beliefs
There are many people who do not even know what to believe in. They don't know what is in their hearts. Opinions are thrown at them in so many different directions that it's hard for them to take a stance on anything. But you have to choose something. You have to believe in something and stand for it. You cannot stand in the middle of some train tracks and an Amtrak train barreling at you and debate on what you'll do. You either have to get out of the way or stay put. Your decision is solid and clear-cut. No grey areas. Either get out of the way or go splat. And because of the world being on a tipping point you must choose now more than ever.
It is extremely difficult to debate with some people nowadays, however. Many people have already chosen a side and are sticking to it. Their stance is even more powerful due to the advent of certain technologies such as the internet. Opinions are thrown at some children at a much younger age and more intensely. Personal beliefs are established early. What's my point? Do not get angry and frustrated. Someone is going to believe what they want and you will believe what you want. You will not change their mind and they will not change yours. Only an act of God will change someone's perspective completely. Often times through tragedy which hits us the hardest and God knows it. The ol' "Why does God let bad things happen" will be talked about in some other post in the future.
And let's say you already have a hard stance on something. Religion, politics, ethics and such. Now is the time to re-evaluate what you believe in. Double check you could say. And I strongly suggest your religious beliefs before anything. This gives you more resolve to fight.
5. My own general warning
Feel free to skip this part if you don't want to hear about anything religious...because this will be full of it. I have many friends who do not believe in a God or anything like it. And I respect that. This is my own general warning to other Christians or anybody religious in some fashion.
Forever is coming. What do I mean by that? We are staring into the face of death and destruction. Doesn't matter if you believe you will be delivered from the tribulation, be reincarnated into something, become one with the universe, whatever. I'd hate to be one of those "The world is ending" joes on the street holding up a cardboard sign. But great change, in a global setting, will definitely happen. Now is the time to reaffirm your faith.
For all Christians out there now is the time to stand up for Christ. Now is the time to make yourself knowledgeable on the truth. Now is the time to make yourself heard. Now is the time to stand stronger than ever before.
This concludes my blog post. I have written this post because I feel the Holy Spirit has guided me to do it. I feel that I now know my purpose...to warn.

Prophetic Eyes
Business as usual. Politics as usual. Religion as usual. War as usual. Seems like just the same ol' struggle humanity has been going through for thousands of years. And why shouldn't they?
Looking at the world and current events through prophetic eyes is quite difficult. Mainly due to the fact that most of your peers do not. Whether you're religious or not, the things going on today have been predicted (and sometimes with great detail) hundreds and thousands of years ago. There have been many false prophets through out history, especially in the last several hundred years. People have been shouting "the end has come!" for a long time now. And this has caused our modern society to be complacent, if not defiant against TRUE and CORRECT prophecy.
Now one might ask "What is true and correct prophecy? We've seen people claim this before." A great deal of prophecy needs to be interpreted with common sense and logic. Joe Schmoe making a cult and claiming aliens are coming to save humanity in the year 2040 or obviously NOT correct. When it comes down to it people long ago and today are idiots when it comes to interpreting prophecy in the Bible, or any holy writing for that matter. So what makes the prophecy in the Bible correct? I could give any number of verses to support this but I'll save that for a later post. Defending the Bible's accuracy is not the main point of this post. In fact I've digressed quite a bit.
As I was saying, looking at the world and whats happening through prophetic eyes, and not wordly eyes, can get you into many heated discussions. It can get you insulted, badgered, mocked, etc etc. As for myself, I see the prophecy in everything that is happening including the weather changing, the current world financial crisis, political leaders and politics in general, the wars and the downfall of our American society (and the rest of the world for that matter). There is a decaying of family values, of morality and ethics, and most importantly...common sense. Decisions made within our governments are anything but the usual. Events are slowly molding the world into what is going to, and what must, happen.
I have been called "hopeless". I have been insulted. I have been mocked. I have been accused of not knowing the facts. What they don't realize is that I see what is behind those facts. I see what is driving those facts. And I know many many other people in the world do as well. And I am sure they are being persecuted for it.
I am not saying I am in a higher plane, or that I'm smarter and/or better than anybody else. God tells us to know prophecy. He COMMANDS it. That we know the signs of the end times and that we see all these events coming together for one singular purpose. I am simply doing what my Lord is telling me to do. And a great deal of you Christians need to wake up and obey this command. This is the most important time of our history. Prophecy should be in the forefront of our daily thinking. It must be understood, it must be taken seriously and it must be revered.
So I suggest that people start taking time every day to understand what is going on in the world. Shows like Jack Van Impe and the Hal Lindsey Report are extremely valuable to any student of prophecy. But the realization of our end time is not just for ourselves. It is for the people we care about. It is to spread the saving Word of God. And above all it is about glorifying Him.

What An Age We Live In.
I had wanted to make a post that wasn't so serious. A post that people could laugh at. But I've decided to post on something much more important.
Through every venue of my life I have seen one common thread; deceit. It saddens me to see a majority of my generation so...conditioned. Never before in current history has the truth been so watered down, so convoluted. It's branches are forced to cross into areas that it has no business being in. Truly this is the age of lies, the age of dissolution, the age of deceit.
Whether we like it or not, accept it or not, deny it or not there is an ultimate truth to everything. Without truth there is no purpose. Without purpose there is no point. Philosophers and scientists have been arguing over this concept for millenias. There is no mystery to it...at all. It has been staring us in the face since the beginning of time. God is truth. God is life. God is salvation. At this point I really don't care if you agree with that or not. But when faced with their own mortality I believe every person questions what they believe in. The concept of God or what happens after we die can't help but make it's way into their minds.
Now here is a little point that I realized a few moments ago. People like to believe that we ARE important (we are but this in a different sense). We ARE the gods of our realm. We are the ultimate in creation. But yet they believe in a system that completely overrides this notion. Anything we do ultimately has no lasting purpose or point. We live, we die and we vanish from all memory. Nothing we do has eternal consequence. This does not sound like truth to me. This sounds like despair. This sounds like weakness, not strength.
Many people like to assume that today is the age of...realization. That people have finally come to the truth after countless centuries of confusion. The idea that we ARE god. We must do things to praise our existence and not His. That religion is a tool of control and "deceit." I laugh at this, honestly. There is nothing new about this belief. It has come and gone like the setting of the sun.
We are so busy making Facebook status posts, tweeting what we had for breakfast this morning, listening to joe schmoe spout his opinions on everything, that we fail to think for ourselves. One does not come to truth through the opinions of one man. Truth comes through wisdom.
Wisdom is all but lost in this generation. We have substituted it with common opinion and intelligence. A wise man does not need to be a smart man. Not to sound paradoxical, but any idiot can be smart. Now this isn't to say that we shouldn't learn everything we can. God calls for us to be as knowledgeable as we can be (totally contradicting the believe by many that religion ignores facts) to further bastion our beliefs. But the more you know, the more responsibility there is for you to use your intelligence wisely. Wisdom is the application of knowledge.
It's time for people to double guess what they believe in. Times are getting harder, and will continue to get harder. And instead of believing in a system that offers hope, we choose the application of a system that quite literally "throws us under the bus". Now is the time to restore morality, ethical thinking, and the belief in something greater than ourselves, not deny it! Don't let your hate, your supposed intellect, your emotions block you from finding the truth. And even if you do find the "truth". That doesn't mean stop. That means to keep growing in it. To keep researching and learning and comparing until there is no doubt. And that means researching all sides...not just the ones you agree with. I promise you, that if you open your heart and mind, you WILL find the ultimate truth. The same truth that has been there all along but forgotten.

A Tower or Something Else?
I've been watching several videos and TV programs about the ancient past and before the Great Flood. Though I didn't believe the stuff myself (for it all seems very fantastic), the more I researched...the more it made sense. There is a popular show called "Ancient Aliens". There have also been various other documentaries about various subjects that this shows discusses. Now I myself do not believe in aliens. For Jesus died for the sins of the world...NOT the WORLDS!
So what am I trying to say? The past that is taught (intentionally and unintentionally) is not the correct interpretation. Mankind was extremely advanced. There are several technologies behind some of the world's greatest architectural, technological and "mythological" achievements. Such things include the Pyramid of Giza (the only pyramid with NO hieroglyphs or tombs), the Antikythera Mechanism, the Dashka Stone, the Sacsayhuaman Walls, the Baghdad Battery, the Istanbul Rocket, the London Hammer, the Grooved Spheres of South America, the Saqqara Bird, the Cosso Artifact, the Egyptian Helicopter and so forth. Most of these are being debated vigorously. Some are probably mistakes and possibly hoaxes. Creationists, evolutionists and historians all make good points. But there are many many more around the world. And the great stone structures of the world cannot be disputed...because well...they are there. I encourage the reader to google these and just familiarize yourself with them and make your own opinions. Now this blog post is based on the belief that the reader does indeed believe mankind was more advanced than we think (particularly before the Great Flood, the fallen angels had much to do with man's greatest achievements).
This got me wondering about one structure that is not touched upon very much. The Tower of Babel. Most people think of a huge tower that goes up miles and miles into the sky. Here is what the Bible says in the New American Standard. Genesis 11: 1-5
Now the whole earth used the same language and the same words. And it came about as they journeyed east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar and settled there. And they said to one another, "Come, let us make bricks and burn them thoroughly." And they used brick for stone, and they used tar for mortar. And they said, "Come, let us build for ourselves a city, and a tower whose top will reach into heaven, and let us make for ourselves a name; lest we be scattered abroad over the face of the whole earth.
Now there doesn't seem to be anything real out of the ordinary here. Bricks were made, tar was used as mortar, and so forth. But there are some subtle things within the text that need to be addressed. For instance, "let us build for ourselves a city, AND a tower whose top will reach into heaven." Why would the tower be addressed separately? If you take the Bible literally, whenever something is mentioned separately....it MEANS something separate. Also it says "whose top will reach into heaven" not the heavens (which would mean the sky and/or space). They literally wanted to go into the afterlife.
Now were they so naive as to think that if they built a real tall structure that they would run into God Himself? I don't think so. I think they knew that heaven was another dimension, not just up in the sky somewhere. Now it could be argued that they really thought it was just up in the sky. But in order to actually DO this, it would require a structure as big as a city. It would go miles and miles high. If this thing was being built and it was made AFTER the flood (it wouldn't be buried by sediment and rock) and in a plain...then where is it? According to the Bible...the city AND the tower were built. So...where is it? The text says its in the land of Shinar...so we know the location. Again I ask: Where is it?
So this made me think. Perhaps this thing was a tall structure, but not as tall as we think. It was not literally going miles and miles into the sky. There was something at the top of the tower "that WILL reach into heaven." When I hear this...I think of a transporter...a dimensional gate of some sort. Or maybe even a "launch tower" of some kind. Either way the text really makes you think if you look at it closely.
In conclusion I believe the tower was a tall (but not astronomically massive) building with a "stargate" of sorts at the top. Now could I be completely wrong about this? I could be I admit that. But I'm pretty sure of what I'm reading in the text. I guess we will all find out...when we will ALL reach heaven...through death.

The Anomalies Part 1
I figure sense this is 2012 and all the "end of the world" nuts are having a field day, that this might be a topic worth looking into. And if you look into this particular topic, you'll soon find yourself emersed in plenty of paranoia and conspiracy theories. So the big question is will the world end December 21, 2012? Most people would say no, many would say yes. But lets dig into the whole history of the 2012 date.
I did a little research on this topic several months ago. It peeked my interest....as it pertains to my destiny... and everybody elses. There are many ways of looking at this topic to be honest. If you are religious, if you are not religious, if you believe in the wisdom of the ancients, if you believe their teachings to be malarky, and so forth. But let us try to look at the facts first.
Most everyone knows that the December 21, 2012 date is a date upon the ancient Mayan calendar. This calendar is known as the Mesoamerican Long Count calendar. It was used before Europeans came to the Americas. This calendar was probably made by the Olmec...but that doesn't really change anything. The December date marks the end of a "baktun." A baktun is 20 "katun" cycles of the Long Count calendar....or 144,000 days. Recently, researchers have found a series of Mayan astronomical tables in Xultun, Guatemala that plot the movement of the Moon over the course of 17 baktuns (the 2012 date marks the end of the 13th baktun). So were the Mayans wrong? Or are we just interpreting them wrong? Keep in mind the Mayans were obsessed with space and time. If anybody knew what they were talking about as far as dates go, it was them. I could go on for pages about this whole Mayan calendar but there are other points I want to discuss. (Sorry I don't know why the second half of this paragraph has a white background in the text).
The Mayans were not the only culture to predict the "end of the world" so to speak (that is if you believe the whole Long Count calendar thing was interpreted correctly).
1) The Hopi Indian tribe has a prophecy that predicated the coming of the white man, world wars, and the coming of a "fifth world." Some Hopi have said this date corresponds to the 2012 date of the Mayans. Another interesting tidbit is that the Hopi also warned man not to take anything from the Moon. That the laws of nature would be disrupted and cause great earthquakes, severe weather changes, and social unrest.
2) The Chinese also predicated a great cataclysm in the winter solstice of 2012. It comes from their most ancient text called the "I Ching" or Book of Changes. Now what is funny is that this wasn't a prophetic book in the religious sense. It was actually a kind of financial guide. Weird huh?
3) In the late 1990s the Web Bot Project was developed. It is a software program that is claimed to be able to predict future events by tracking keywords on the Internet. It was originally intended to predict stock market trends (another financial guide huh?). Supposedly this program predicated the 9/11 attacks, Hurricane Katrina, the 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake, etc. Though it has been wrong on other predictions. But it did predict a great happening in 2012.
There are tons more prophecies from other cultures around the world about 2012. Now most can probably be discounted as being misinterpreted, vague, or just plain malarky. But there are a few eery similarities in the ones I mentioned.
So, will the world end? I do not think the world will end...as in be destroyed completely.
A) I am a Christian and believe the Word of God. In Ecclesiastes 1:4 it states: "A generation goes and a generation comes, but the earth remains forever. Psalm 104:5 states "He established the earth upon its foundations, so it will not totter and last forever and ever."
B) I believe the world will endure, but will come across harsh times. But a new kingdom will be established upon the earth. Could 2012 be the year of the rapture? Well Matthew 24:36 states "But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone." However, if you look earlier within this chapter at verse 33 it states "even so you too, when you see all these things, recognize that He is near, right at the door." This is a commandment. Right at the door...what does that mean exactly? Day and the hour? Is that literal? Could we actually "predict" the year sense its not "the day or hour"? Is narrowing it down to 1 year being RIGHT at the door? Guess we'll find out in time.
So all in all, I don't think the Earth will be blotted out. Could some natural world-wide disaster happen this year? Nobody can really say yes or no. I hope not, but to quote someone from an Indiana Jones movie "My soul is prepared, is yours?"

Music: Broaden Your Horizons
It's been a while sense I've posted but I thought the next subject could be about something that everyone can relate to: music.
Everyone enjoys their own brand of music whether it be rock, rap, classical, orchestral, jazz, trance, blues, etc. And while it's fine to stick to your own brand(s), it can be rewarding to branch out. Most people identify with their particular styles. Sometimes people get made fun of for listening to a style that most people in their circle might not like. And to that I say "phooey." Listen to what you want to listen.
But more on the subject of branching out or broadening your horizons. Music has a funny way of moving the soul. Indeed I believe there's more to it...perhaps supernatural...than what we know and think. And because of that I feel that it's only well, almost an obligation to listen to other styles. I used to only enjoy a few types of music when I was younger, mainly classical and rock. But I started listening to others; country, oldies, industrial, orchestral, trance, hip-hop, and even some rap. I have not been disappointed. There are many new songs/styles that have made their way into my library.
So I guess what I am trying to say is this. Get out of your comfort zone. And yes that's ironic coming from an Aspie. But you never know until you try. A whole new genre can really enrich your life that much more.

Movies
Couldn't really think of any topics to talk about so I decided to start doing Top Ten's. The first one will be about movies. I'm moreso focusing on the tear jerkers. Or the ones that REALLY draw you in.
1. Armageddon
2. Gladiator
3. Enemy Mine
4. Lord of the Rings trilogy
5. Star Wars trilogy (the original)
6. Dances with Wolves
7. Avatar
8. The Green Mile
9.
10.
I couldn't think of any for the last two. Perhaps you can give me your own suggestions.
