Warning
This blog post may be the most important one that I will ever write. This is a long one but must be read. It WILL rub some people the wrong way. Close friends may not even like what is stated in this blog. But honestly I cannot be afraid of differing opinions or backlash. I'm stating what must be stated...accepted or not. Like it or lump it.
1. The world is at a tipping point.
The world is at its highest instability...ever. The world is at a tipping point. You do not even have to be religious to see this. Almost every nation is at discourse with another one. Countries threatening retaliation and even preparing for it. Wars, plagues, lust for power and money; these have always existed. But they are at an all-time high. Perhaps it is because of the advent of certain technologies. Opinions and actions by certain factions are spread world-wide almost instantly. This can be used for both good and evil. Due to my own beliefs I believe I know what is going to happen. Many others won't agree and that's their right.
2. Politics
This isn't business as usual. This includes the entire world. The lines have been drawn. The age of compromise is dwindling. Opposing sides are boiling. And the kettle is about to boil over.
I am going to use America as an example of this instability. Mainly because we are at an extreme turmoil and what happens to us often affects several other nations. There was once a time that many average joe's could go about their lives relatively unscathed by decisions made by congress or any other governing system. This is the common thought amongst a good deal of Americans. Because of this we have been become complacent. We just say that the entire government is well...evil. That they care about themselves and not the public. A kingdom cannot be divided amongst itself and survive. You HAVE to put your trust in someone. You HAVE to support someone even if you don't agree 100% with them. Every nation must have leaders. And it must be realized that not all leaders are evil or selfish. And what are you going to do otherwise? You could replace every single senator, representative, president, cabinet member, etc with people you view would do a better job. There are those whose ethics/morality might stand for years. But there will become many more who will fall into disgrace due to human nature. Even still we must support a particular side. Unfortunately there must be a lesser of two evils. Again every nation must have leaders. Every nation has its bad apples...some more than others. We CANNOT afford to be complacent anymore.
We cannot assume that we will get our next paycheck. We cannot assume that gas prices will stay at a tolerable level. We cannot assume that we will always have fuel or energy. We cannot assume that the price of food will not skyrocket. We cannot assume that we can live day by day completely immune to decisions made by higher-ups. These are all very fragile. The more conflict there is the more fragile these become. And the world is at extreme conflict. Prices of food, gas, fuel have been steadily rising. The American dollar is decreasing in value. Things won't always stay so "great". Hard times are coming...it happens to every nation...repeatedly.
3. Personal responsibility
Everything we do affects another person...and then affects a family...in turn affects other families...in turn affects a neighborhood...in turn affects a city...in turn affects a state and so forth. Not voting, sitting on the fence, hating every side are the things that got us into this mess. By your inactivity have the bad apples been able to rise to power. They do not have to worry about your vote. If a million people suddenly decided to vote for a particular person...that would change everything. Especially if that person is a locally admired ,modest, down to earth citizen who you feel could honestly do a better job than those currently in power. You MUST care. Someone MUST be trusted. You wouldn't let go of your steering wheel and trust the car to take you safely to work would you?
4. Personal beliefs
There are many people who do not even know what to believe in. They don't know what is in their hearts. Opinions are thrown at them in so many different directions that it's hard for them to take a stance on anything. But you have to choose something. You have to believe in something and stand for it. You cannot stand in the middle of some train tracks and an Amtrak train barreling at you and debate on what you'll do. You either have to get out of the way or stay put. Your decision is solid and clear-cut. No grey areas. Either get out of the way or go splat. And because of the world being on a tipping point you must choose now more than ever.
It is extremely difficult to debate with some people nowadays, however. Many people have already chosen a side and are sticking to it. Their stance is even more powerful due to the advent of certain technologies such as the internet. Opinions are thrown at some children at a much younger age and more intensely. Personal beliefs are established early. What's my point? Do not get angry and frustrated. Someone is going to believe what they want and you will believe what you want. You will not change their mind and they will not change yours. Only an act of God will change someone's perspective completely. Often times through tragedy which hits us the hardest and God knows it. The ol' "Why does God let bad things happen" will be talked about in some other post in the future.
And let's say you already have a hard stance on something. Religion, politics, ethics and such. Now is the time to re-evaluate what you believe in. Double check you could say. And I strongly suggest your religious beliefs before anything. This gives you more resolve to fight.
5. My own general warning
Feel free to skip this part if you don't want to hear about anything religious...because this will be full of it. I have many friends who do not believe in a God or anything like it. And I respect that. This is my own general warning to other Christians or anybody religious in some fashion.
Forever is coming. What do I mean by that? We are staring into the face of death and destruction. Doesn't matter if you believe you will be delivered from the tribulation, be reincarnated into something, become one with the universe, whatever. I'd hate to be one of those "The world is ending" joes on the street holding up a cardboard sign. But great change, in a global setting, will definitely happen. Now is the time to reaffirm your faith.
For all Christians out there now is the time to stand up for Christ. Now is the time to make yourself knowledgeable on the truth. Now is the time to make yourself heard. Now is the time to stand stronger than ever before.
This concludes my blog post. I have written this post because I feel the Holy Spirit has guided me to do it. I feel that I now know my purpose...to warn.

Prophetic Eyes
Business as usual. Politics as usual. Religion as usual. War as usual. Seems like just the same ol' struggle humanity has been going through for thousands of years. And why shouldn't they?
Looking at the world and current events through prophetic eyes is quite difficult. Mainly due to the fact that most of your peers do not. Whether you're religious or not, the things going on today have been predicted (and sometimes with great detail) hundreds and thousands of years ago. There have been many false prophets through out history, especially in the last several hundred years. People have been shouting "the end has come!" for a long time now. And this has caused our modern society to be complacent, if not defiant against TRUE and CORRECT prophecy.
Now one might ask "What is true and correct prophecy? We've seen people claim this before." A great deal of prophecy needs to be interpreted with common sense and logic. Joe Schmoe making a cult and claiming aliens are coming to save humanity in the year 2040 or obviously NOT correct. When it comes down to it people long ago and today are idiots when it comes to interpreting prophecy in the Bible, or any holy writing for that matter. So what makes the prophecy in the Bible correct? I could give any number of verses to support this but I'll save that for a later post. Defending the Bible's accuracy is not the main point of this post. In fact I've digressed quite a bit.
As I was saying, looking at the world and whats happening through prophetic eyes, and not wordly eyes, can get you into many heated discussions. It can get you insulted, badgered, mocked, etc etc. As for myself, I see the prophecy in everything that is happening including the weather changing, the current world financial crisis, political leaders and politics in general, the wars and the downfall of our American society (and the rest of the world for that matter). There is a decaying of family values, of morality and ethics, and most importantly...common sense. Decisions made within our governments are anything but the usual. Events are slowly molding the world into what is going to, and what must, happen.
I have been called "hopeless". I have been insulted. I have been mocked. I have been accused of not knowing the facts. What they don't realize is that I see what is behind those facts. I see what is driving those facts. And I know many many other people in the world do as well. And I am sure they are being persecuted for it.
I am not saying I am in a higher plane, or that I'm smarter and/or better than anybody else. God tells us to know prophecy. He COMMANDS it. That we know the signs of the end times and that we see all these events coming together for one singular purpose. I am simply doing what my Lord is telling me to do. And a great deal of you Christians need to wake up and obey this command. This is the most important time of our history. Prophecy should be in the forefront of our daily thinking. It must be understood, it must be taken seriously and it must be revered.
So I suggest that people start taking time every day to understand what is going on in the world. Shows like Jack Van Impe and the Hal Lindsey Report are extremely valuable to any student of prophecy. But the realization of our end time is not just for ourselves. It is for the people we care about. It is to spread the saving Word of God. And above all it is about glorifying Him.

What An Age We Live In.
I had wanted to make a post that wasn't so serious. A post that people could laugh at. But I've decided to post on something much more important.
Through every venue of my life I have seen one common thread; deceit. It saddens me to see a majority of my generation so...conditioned. Never before in current history has the truth been so watered down, so convoluted. It's branches are forced to cross into areas that it has no business being in. Truly this is the age of lies, the age of dissolution, the age of deceit.
Whether we like it or not, accept it or not, deny it or not there is an ultimate truth to everything. Without truth there is no purpose. Without purpose there is no point. Philosophers and scientists have been arguing over this concept for millenias. There is no mystery to it...at all. It has been staring us in the face since the beginning of time. God is truth. God is life. God is salvation. At this point I really don't care if you agree with that or not. But when faced with their own mortality I believe every person questions what they believe in. The concept of God or what happens after we die can't help but make it's way into their minds.
Now here is a little point that I realized a few moments ago. People like to believe that we ARE important (we are but this in a different sense). We ARE the gods of our realm. We are the ultimate in creation. But yet they believe in a system that completely overrides this notion. Anything we do ultimately has no lasting purpose or point. We live, we die and we vanish from all memory. Nothing we do has eternal consequence. This does not sound like truth to me. This sounds like despair. This sounds like weakness, not strength.
Many people like to assume that today is the age of...realization. That people have finally come to the truth after countless centuries of confusion. The idea that we ARE god. We must do things to praise our existence and not His. That religion is a tool of control and "deceit." I laugh at this, honestly. There is nothing new about this belief. It has come and gone like the setting of the sun.
We are so busy making Facebook status posts, tweeting what we had for breakfast this morning, listening to joe schmoe spout his opinions on everything, that we fail to think for ourselves. One does not come to truth through the opinions of one man. Truth comes through wisdom.
Wisdom is all but lost in this generation. We have substituted it with common opinion and intelligence. A wise man does not need to be a smart man. Not to sound paradoxical, but any idiot can be smart. Now this isn't to say that we shouldn't learn everything we can. God calls for us to be as knowledgeable as we can be (totally contradicting the believe by many that religion ignores facts) to further bastion our beliefs. But the more you know, the more responsibility there is for you to use your intelligence wisely. Wisdom is the application of knowledge.
It's time for people to double guess what they believe in. Times are getting harder, and will continue to get harder. And instead of believing in a system that offers hope, we choose the application of a system that quite literally "throws us under the bus". Now is the time to restore morality, ethical thinking, and the belief in something greater than ourselves, not deny it! Don't let your hate, your supposed intellect, your emotions block you from finding the truth. And even if you do find the "truth". That doesn't mean stop. That means to keep growing in it. To keep researching and learning and comparing until there is no doubt. And that means researching all sides...not just the ones you agree with. I promise you, that if you open your heart and mind, you WILL find the ultimate truth. The same truth that has been there all along but forgotten.
